Background

Based on the South Hertfordshire border since 1927 the family partnership has expanded to well over 2,000 acres of arable crop growing, a haulage and distribution service throughout the United Kingdom and into Northern Europe and the growing and processing of herbs.

Transport & Storage
Our transport section of the company started in 1988 working closely with regional and national grain merchants for the movements of grain, seeds and fertilisers. We are fully Tascc registered for the movement of grain and feeds for the animal feed industry and entry into the human food chain. All our vehicles have the latest in electronic weighing systems and are kept to a strict sanitisation program.

To compliment the bulk transport division we also run 26 pallet curtainsided vehicles nationally and into Northern Europe.  We can offer a consolidation service so as to reduce the amount of journeys to one customer or area. We will consolidate a number of pallets to be taken onward on one large vehicle reducing the impact to the environment by running many small vehicles.

We adhere to strict health and hygiene regulations for both bulk and curtainsided vehicles and with a rolling program of vehicle renewal and upgrading we are keeping to the latest in vehicle emissions and legislation’s.

Herb Growers & Processors Following a down turn in soft fruit interest after some twenty five years in pick your own and ready picked production the family decided a change of direction was required and this took shape in the growing of fresh garden mint. From small beginnings this has now increased to the growing and processing of herbs for the condiment industry throughout the UK.
